A used original headlight does not automatically need to be discarded when only individual components are damaged. EDK technically assesses used original headlights, repairs suitable units and checks them within a defined quality process.

Our process
01 - Identification: The base headlight, part number, condition and existing markings are documented.
02 - Assessment: Cover, housing, mounting points and relevant internal components are checked.
03 - Refurbishment: Suitable units are repaired, assembled and resealed.
04 - Testing: Relevant functional, leak-tightness, beam-pattern and final checks are performed depending on type.
05 - Product transparency: The unit is described as a refurbished used original headlight; independent replacement components are not presented as original parts.

At EDK, refurbishment is more than cosmetic cleaning. The process may include damage assessment, disassembly, repair or component replacement, assembly, resealing and relevant quality checks.
